Entrepreneurship Development Programme - who's it for?

The Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) is aimed at entrepreneurial individuals within highly ambitious businesses with international potential.

Businesses selected for  Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) or Scottish Enterprise sponsored place on EDP will be selected on a competitive basis based on the entrepreneurial ambition of the individual and the growth potential of the business.

In order to be eligible for a sponsored place on EDP, and to win a package of financial and wraparound support, to attend this prestigious and highly inspirational programme, you must have an influential role within:

  • an established company that has been operating for more than three years with a turnover of over £50,000 per annum and your business must be account managed by Highlands and Islands Enterprise or Scottish Enterprise.

  • a new entrepreneurial company less than three years old which is either pre-revenue or has a turnover of less than £50,000 per annum and is supported by HGSU, Informatics Ventures or the Edinburgh BioQuarter.

Businesses wishing to apply for a sponsored place on EDP 2017 must be available to be in Boston from Thursday 19 January - Saturday 28 January 2017.
