Investors in People

We provide a free advisory service to those businesses who are looking to become involved in the Investors in People (IiP) programme.  The aim of IiP is to encourage investment in staff, with the aim of maximising

efficiency for the benefit of the business.

In addition to providing free IiP advisory support we can also offer grant funding towards staff training costs, subject to agreement of a formal training plan.

Investors in People is a national Standard which is used as a business improvement tool.  It makes sure that the skills and motivations of all employees help the business to move forward.

Investors in People is common sense.  It was developed by business for business and simply means that:

• Owners and managers are committed to develop all employees to do what the business needs them to do.
• All employees' development needs are reviewed regularly.
• Development of people happens throughout the time they work with you.
• The results of development activities are measured to check that there is payback for the company and identify improvements.
