How can we help your community?

HIE Argyll and the Islands can support a wide range of community groups, voluntary organisations and not-for-profit community businesses in their efforts to improve the facilities and services that enhance the quality of community life throughout Argyll and the Islands.

Our objective is to help the communities of Argyll and the Islands to identify, develop and implement projects locally.  To do this we provide a range of services, including financial assistance and advice and support, both project specific and more generally for community organisations.

We wish to assist communities to take responsibility for the provision, improvement and management of their own assets and will do this by promoting training to provide the skills that communities need to realise their ambitions.
