Accountability through openness HIE Argyll and the Islands is committed to a policy of Accountability through Openness which gives unprecedented access to public information, including details of financial assistance approvals, registered interests of our Board members and any financial transactions. We also operate a policy of Appointability through Openness for the Board of non-executive directors, allowing for the widest possible community involvement in leadership and local economic development. HIE Argyll and the Islands practices the HIE Network's policy of accountability through openness to ensure maximum transparency in its operations. To that end, we publish monthly lists of all our financial assistance to businesses, communities and individuals. These lists, in the form of downloadable Acrobat pdf files, are available below. Periodically details grouped by geographical area are also available. |
