An ambitious strategy to enhance public service delivery through the use of digital channels has been launched by Finance Secretary John Swinney.
Mr Swinney marked the publication of "Scotland's Digital Future - Delivery of Public Services" by taking part in Twitter 24, a Scotland-wide council led event to provide information on local services through digital media channels.

Mr Swinney tweeted from Loch Leven Community Campus in Kinross, where he joined local high school children who were also tweeting as part of the awareness raising day.
He said: "Launching digital public services strategy at Loch Leven Community Campus #mycouncil."

Mr Swinney has also published a blog setting what the new framework is designed to achieve.
