Get hands-on with the leading-edge VR headsets. We will have HTC Vive, Gear VR and Oculus Rift devices for you to try. Discover the practical uses for these headsets, and some fun uses too!
The Soluis Group is bringing its 4.5 metre dome with high-resolution projectors and surround sound, for a fully immersive virtual reality experience. The possibilities are endless with these domes - immersive tourist attractions, bringing architectural designs to life and reinventing the training process in the energy sector.
To demonstrate what amazing things can be done with virtual reality technology, the British Museum worked with Soluis on a Bronze Age VR weekend last year, recreating a Bronze Age roundhouse on the Isle of Arran which visitors were able to experience in the dome or by using a VR headset.Visitors of the ‘Augmented Business Week’ will get the chance to step inside this very Bronze Age roundhouse and experience it for themselves.
This unique experience will give you the chance to talk to the experts and find out why virtual reality is more than a novelty. As well as having the technology exhibition, there will also be a daily seminar focused on a different industry. Guest speakers will bring their knowledge to talk about how virtual reality in being used in their field and how you can embrace it too.
