BBC Learning Films Online

30 April 2013

The BBC Learning films ScreenHI delivered last month called The Victorians:  How They Influenced Us are now online and gathering great feedback.  50 minutes of content was produced.  30 minutes for broadcast and 20 minutes of behind the scenes footage for online publication are now available to view.   ScreenHI and goNORTH Festival Director, Amanda Millen is over the moon.

"I'm incredibly proud of the films we have produced, the Directors had some great ideas and I feel we have covered a really interesting mix of topics from the Victorian era. Delivering to the BBC is much more technically demanding than many of our Directors have experienced before, so the journey they have been on has given them a real idea of what delivering within industry involves."

The topics covered were Shetland Lace, The Shetland Times, Shinty, Victorian Living Conditions, Harris Emigration and Brodie Castle. All the films can be viewed here.
