UK Cosmetics Ingredients & Technologies Meet the Buyer mission

UKTI Barcelona, in collaboration with Barcelona Beauty Cluster, is offering the opportunity for UK manufacturers of cosmetics raw materials, functional and active ingredients as well as innovative technologies, to engage directly with key cosmetic manufacturers and distributors based in Spain for networking and 1-to-1 meetings.
The Spanish cosmetics and personal care industry remains a strong international player. It achieved over 3 billion Euros of exports in 2014, making Spain the 6th largest exporter of cosmetics products globally.

Spain is the 5th largest market for cosmetics and personal care within the EU. The industry is comprised of several leading companies such as ISDIN, Lacer, Puig, Natura Bisse and The Colomer Group; and has a very strong ecosystem of international third party manufacturers and full service manufacturers.

You should participate if:
You are an innovative manufacturer of raw materials, functional and active ingredients as well as innovative technologies servicing the cosmetics, perfume, personal care and cosmoceutics industries.

Selection Process:
In order to maximise the benefits of this event for the UK companies, UKTI Barcelona team are currently working closely with local companies and the Barcelona Beauty Cluster.

Companies who register will be sent an application form to complete asking for your areas of expertise. Once completed these forms will be passed to all local companies interested in participating, to confirm that they are
happy to hold meetings with you.

UKTI Barcelona will then contact you confirming which companies wish to meet you (or not) and if positive expect you to join the mission. At this point companies will be responsible for commissioning a UKTI OMIS.

10.30 – 12.00 Market place: Brief introduction by British companies

17.30 – 18.30 Networking drinks (optional)

Day 2 (optional)
Depending on demand from British companies and availability from local companies, we will organise a site visit to a leading manufacturer or brand.

Note: This is a provisional programme and may be subject to change.

UKTI OMIS Fee (Overseas Market Introduction Service) cost of £200 (+VAT) per company (2 delegates max) that will need to be commissioned once the local companies have preselected you.

A Market Visit Support Package may be available in your region. Please contact your local UKTI International Trade Advisor for further details. Delegates are responsible for their own hotel and travel costs. UKTI can
provide hotel options to consider and preferred flights will be advised. Included in the overall cost is the networking lunch and refreshments (water, juice, etc.) during the day.
