Data Crunch Lunch - Space Data

24 April 2018

Satellites are no longer the preserve of Government agencies and the rapid increase in the number of small satellites or ‘cube-sats’ orbiting the Earth means there are more and more commercially available data beaming back to us than ever before. The ubiquity of satellite applications is such that most of us are unaware of how much we use them and how important they are to our everyday lives.

This session will highlight how and where satellite applications are being used, with exemplar case studies from aquaculture and education.
