Then Plan for Export Success with a peer-group of HIE businesses on the Intermediate Programme starting in Inverness on Thursday 4th Oct 2018.
This FREE programme is open to Highlands and Islands companies and runs over four days from October to November 2018. It is fully funded by Highlands and Islands Enterprise with funding from the European Regional Development Fund.*
Targeted at companies ready to take on the challenge of developing new business in international markets, or to companies that are looking to introduce greater strategy and structure to their export activities to help their business grow.
This group programme involves a series of four one-day workshops between October and November 2018.
The workshops are delivered in an open and dynamic way by a facilitator who has many years of experience in international business.
The focus is not on academic learning but is on the application of good export process and practice to the participant businesses. The sessions work as a peer group planning forum where companies develop strategies guided by best practice export processes while at the same time developing export capability and skills.
Planning for Export Success is part-funded through the European Regional Development Fund in partnership with Scottish Development International and HIE. It is being run by HIE, in partnership with Scottish Development International.
The Programme is delivered by Martin McBride (Envision) who has 30 years’ experience of exporting / international business, in industry, consultancy, and ongoing investment and board involvement in exporting businesses.
*Please note that the courses are free of charge, but as it is a form of State Aid, it counts towards your overall De Minimis allowance. Each company is allowed a total of €200,000 in De Minimis Aid over a three-year period (with a lower limit for fisheries and some other categories).
