SMAS Reception at Inverness Campus

03 December 2015

The Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service (SMAS) was launched 10 years ago and has worked in partnership with Highlands and Islands Enterprise to support a wide range of businesses in the region to become more competitive and profitable.

To celebrate this milestone, and to discuss future trends for manufacturing, SMAS would like to invite you to an evening reception which will be held in the new Inverness College UHI on Thursday 3rd December from 6-8pm.

The evening is a fantastic opportunity to take a look back, but more importantly to look forward. With manufacturing at a crossroads with technology, global trends and innovation, we have seen a real turnaround in how manufacturing is valued, and is now seen as a driver for exports, innovation and growth.  SMAS Director, Nick Shields and Johnston of Elgin’s Simon Cotton will share their views on ambition, investment, quality and internationalisation.

Once the formalities are over, the main part of the evening will allow you to network with your fellow guests. Drinks and canapés will be served over the course of the evening.  Dress code is business attire.

Guests will also be given the opportunity to take a tour of the new college building.

We do hope you can make it along.  Please register your attendance by following the link:
