Mobile technology – Get mobile or get left behind!

03 November 2015

In April 2015, Google made a significant change to its search engine ranking calculations in order to favour ‘mobile friendly’ sites. More than 60% of all Google searches are now performed on mobile devices. Is your website ‘mobile friendly’? Does it provide a positive user experience?

In our first webinar about mobile technology, we predicted that in 2015 one in five bookings made online would be made using a mobile device. Well, we underestimated! The UK is now a ‘smartphone society’ with one in four people booking their tourism experiences via a smartphone or tablet. Visitors not only want to be able to pay for products or services via mobile devices, they expect to be able to do it.

Google’s insights also point to the fact that if your website offers a great mobile experience, users are more likely to make a purchase.  So how does your site shape up?

In this webinar our guests will share their experiences of mobile optimisation and how it has affected their own business, talk about the challenges of developing a mobile-friendly site and highlight the reasons behind their success.
