Regional Selective Assistance
Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) is the main investment grant scheme for businesses in designated areas of Scotland (the 'assisted' areas). An eligible investment project must relate to setting up a new establishment, extending an existing establishment, diversifying into new additional products or a fundamental change in production process.

Powers to offer RSA in Tier 1 and Tier 2 areas are under Section 7 of the Industrial Development Act 1982 and Article 13 of the EC General Block Exemption Regulation (EC) No 800/2008.
