If you are interested in knowing more about the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, there are a number of web sites relating to the Act:

www.itspublicknowledge.info is the Scottish Information Commissioner's web site and provides further information about the Act and links to other relevant bodies.

The Scottish Executive will shortly be producing a new Code of Practice on the Discharge of Functions by Public Authorities under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, which will explain how the Commissioner expects organisations to apply the Act. A link to these will be provided when it is available, and there is already some information available at www.scotland.gov.uk/government/foi
