| Description: | The Pavilion was built in 1938 and is a fine example of 30s architecture. It is now owned and operated by Argyll & Bute Council, and is available for hire (email eileen.rae@argyll-bute.gov.uk). It has been in continuous use and offers spacious and flexible accomodation for a wide range of events and performances. It seats 1250 in total with performance space of 22.8m W x 6.1m D x 20m H to grid, flat stage floor suitable for dance. Its main programme is folk, country, jazz, brass, symhony concerts. |
