Community Energy Scotland tackle Highland Cross

Nicholas Gubbins, Georgy David, Melanie MacRae from Community Energy Scotland Neil Ross from Strengthening Communities, HIE and Richard Church (substitute for Eric Dodd) raised over £1000 for the annual endurance event. All the money raised contributes to this years nominated Highland Cross charities; New Start Highland, Children 1st and Shobmobility Lochaber and Dingwall. HIE staff have also helped reach this grand total by their weekly consumption of scones!


Melanie MacRae said “It was lovely and sunny on the day of the event so we could not have wished for better conditions. The atmosphere was amazing with lots of people coming out to cheer us on as we cycled down Glen Affric to Beauly.   All in all a great day and we are looking forward to next year”
