Sendcashhome.com has launched a pioneering cash transfer service for the Polish community.
Unlike alternative services there is no fee for either the transaction or cost to users from an unfavourable exchange rate. And it offers a secure, guaranteed and convenient route to transfer UK funds to any Polish bank account using either a network of retail agents or, now, direct over the web using a computer or mobile phone.
The UK launch follows an extensive development and roll-out programme with Polish communities across the UK.

From the initial feedback it was clear that, to be effective for the Polish community, not only had the Sendcashhome.com website to be available in both English and Polish languages, but it also had to offer bi-lingual customer support services to help with payments being forwarded to disparate family members or accounts.
A significant advantage of the service is that it offers a faster and risk-free alternative to the practice of sending cash direct to Poland to take advantage of better bank exchange rates and avoid what are significant costs traditionally associated with money transfer services.
“Because of the barriers in terms of language and the sheer cost of money transfers some crazy money schemes are operating, usually involving bundles of cash, socks and long distance lorry drivers. It's little wonder then that news of a secure, no-cost service for Poles to send cash home has spread so quickly,” adds Hodkin.
