The Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion
12 February 2008

Do you know of someone who promotes business enterprise skills and attitudes in the UK by encouraging, training or mentoring others?

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion rewards people who have played an outstanding and significant role in promoting the growth of business enterprise and/or entrepreneurial skills and attitudes in others – for example amongst young people or those in disadvantaged communities or under-represented groups.  Anyone who has encouraged individuals to develop entrepreneurial approaches and achievements with a view to starting or building a business can be nominated.

These promotional activities could be at a national or local level.

Nominees could be working in business, education, training or youth work.

Nominations can be made between 21 April and 31 October each year.

Nomination forms for the 2009 Awards and further details will be on our website from 21 April 2008.

If you would like to receive a nomination form when they become available in April 2008, please email your name, address and telephone number to info@queensawards.org.uk and we will email you a link to our on-line nomination system when the forms become available.  Please specify that you want a QAEP form.
