I am in the process of developing a specific Quality page within the hie.co.uk/training-management-unit pages that will allow me to communicate with you all on issues that relate to Quality and Quality improvement.

 The messages will be specific and generic updates in relation to HIE matters. Others may be signposting external websites which can help with quality improvement, or inform you of events that may be of interest to you.

 By sending out such information HIE is not endorsing the content nor effectiveness of these external organisations but is more “flagging up” their existence and offering them as possible sources of help and support.

 In many cases these may be organisations, events or topics that you are already aware of but there is no harm in knowing something twice rather than not at all.

 Initially these communications will be intermittent but over time I will develop a more regular frequency.

 I would appreciate your feedback on whether such a specific Quality portal would be useful to you, or any ideas or suggestions in this respect.
