Non-BT line broadband checking

The Broadband Resource web site, formerly samknows, has updated its broadband availability checking to allow non-BT customers to get more accurate results.

Now supporting individual address-based checking, the free online tool enables non-BT customers to obtain an accurate picture of DSL, cable and wireless services in their location for all BT Wholesale-based ADSL services, BT Wholesale SDSL and Virgin Media cable products. Previously, non-BT customers had to rely on their postcode as a guide to their broadband connectivity options.

Alternatively, BT customers can scout out broadband by going to the wholesale checker or the simplifydigital checker. More in-depth research can be conducted by using exchange search, the new mapping engine, or the county and regional statistic pages.
