The Highlands and Islands Community Capacity Partnership's (HICCaP's) 'Meet the Trainers' network and showcase events in November 2007 across the Highlands and Islands are an opportunity for training providers and voluntary groups to mingle and chat about training provision and issues locally.

The events follows on from the successful Meet the Trainers event in Inverness in September. We will start off with a short presentation on HICCaP, the new online skills-assessment tool and the results from the recent Training Needs Analysis of the regional voluntary sector. This will be followed by ten-minute presentations from two training providers, and a facilitated, informal discussion about training provision in the Highlands and Islands and any related topics.

There will be a free lunch to give delegates the opportunity for informal networking and exchange of information.
