Have your say on the future of Scotland's life sciences
09 October 2007

The Industry Advisory Group (IAG) along with members of the Life Sciences Alliance (LSA) - including HIE - has instigated refreshment of the industry-led Scottish life sciences strategy. The refreshment is necessary as the strategy has met most of its short-term milestones and needs to evolve in line with changing local and international environments.

Through this consultation process, we are inviting the wider life sciences community in Scotland to have its say on the outline updated vision and objectives.

Frontline Consultants have been commissioned to facilitate this process and support the life sciences community in developing the refreshed strategy.

How you can help

The main areas you will be able to help shape the future of are:

  • Capital – the opportunity to access funding appropriate to organisational needs throughout their growth cycle
  • Technology – an environment conducive to developing the knowledge base and exploiting the transfer of technology between academia and business
  • Infrastructure – having the right facilities to meet the needs of a growing sector
  • Collaboration – working effectively across organisational boundaries to align resources behind priorities in areas of strength
