Local shops for local people

Local shops for local people

With so much competition around these days from out of town malls and shopping outlets, small to micro-sized retail businesses need to fight back.

And now a new loyalty scheme web site believes it has come up with the answer by allowing local businesses to place offer details and coupons on the web free of charge.

My Local Offers is a clearing-house for buyer incentives and offers that target customers within a specific geographic area. Businesses need only register and thereafter log into the self-service system to place, edit, suspend and delete their special offers.

Due to go live in October, My Local Offers is currently inviting small businesses to pre-register their interest in using the service. Those that do before the official launch will receive exclusive and advance access to the system to create offers, £100 free credit to use on premium services and free telephone site help and support.

Shoppers will be able to search out local businesses to within a kilometre of their postcode.
