Worldwide buyers cued up for VisitScotland expo 2007
04 April 2007

Over 200 exhibitors, attendees numbering well in excess of 1000 and exhibition floor space of more than 5000 square metres. These statistics are what makes this month’s VisitScotland expo the flagship tourism event of the year.

Taking place over April 18 and April 19 at Ingliston’s Royal Highland Centre near Edinburgh, the business to business trade show is the calendar event for the Scottish tourism industry. Attendance at VisitScotland expo is by invitation only, with the majority of buyers hosted by VisitScotland due to their positive recognition of the quality of the visitor experience in Scotland.

Unlike in other trade shows, the VisitScotland expo is totally Scottish, with exhibition space available to all tourism-related companies offering a Scotland-based tourism product. As well as obtaining prime exposure to worldwide buyers, exhibitors also have the opportunity to participate in the VisitScotland expo networking evening and get themselves into the frame for VisitScotland led study/familiarisation tours for key buyers.

Among those Highlands and Islands companies exhibiting are:
