Quick navigation snippet

Occasionally circumstances arise where we need to update our sites quickly but can’t afford the time to overhaul the site template to accommodate new pages or a new section within the main navigation. As a quick fix, why not try out the following code snippet to add a temporary quick navigation box?

Though obviously not ideal, a quick navigation box will at least get you out of a hole. And here it is: Quick Nav: Select a page.. Home Page E-business Broadband Key Industries

This example uses pages on the HIE site, you will want to change these. To do so, paste in the URL of the page you wish to target between the quote marks of the option value tag. To change what appears as text in the drop down menu, place your text between option value tag and the closing </option> tag. You can add other menu options too by repeating the option value code tag and ensuring they are placed in the centre section above the closing </select> tag.
