I really didn’t want to have to write this. My wee pals at tvlicensing.co.uk have stuffed up. Again.
After seemingly straightening out the buying-a-TV-licence-online knot last week, an envelope arrived. My TV licence at last..?
Nope - a letter thanking me for my recent enquiry about buying a TV licence and a payment slip. Aaarrrgghhh!
How difficult can it be to send me a TV licence? I’ve paid the right amount this time. I’ve successfully negotiated the purchasing tunnel at tvlicensing.co.uk and received an email confirming my purchase. Standing in a queue at the Post Office seems now to be but a rose-tinted spectacle dream by comparison.
I wonder if the domain name tvlicensingsucks.co.uk is available to register?
(Ed: It is. And so are all the other domain extensions including .tv
PS: I think we’ve heard enough about this now…)
[Okay dokey. BTW, the postperson has just been and my licence has now arrived!]
