Leading international management consultant Philip Atkinson is to deliver a session on improving sales techniques next week at the invitation of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in Scotland.

The CIM, the world's leading professional marketing organisation with 130 members in 130 countries, is set to increase its activities in the Highlands and Islands.

This is the third regional masterclass, set up on conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.  As a specialist in behavioural change, Philip Atkinson will share secrets on improving sales techniques at the Marriot Hotel, Inverness, on the evening of February 27.

The session will focus on the design of tactics and strategies and how to improve pitching techniques. Those attending the event will discover proven methods for landing new clients and they and should be prepared for a highly interactive session that will concentrate on how best to read, anticipate and remove potential client objections before they are raised. The evening is sponsored by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE).
