According to reports online and the Guardian, the supermarket chain are getting ready to launch a Tesco-branded suite of software.
It’s thought the software range will comprise of an Office-type package, two anti-virus products, a personal finance tool, a CD/DVD burner and an image editor. All the titles will retail for under £20, it is being widely predicted.
The software is white label applications from Formjet, makers of Panda AV and Ability office suite.
Support for the software is be offered via TescoSoftware.com, the supermarket chain’s latest web site, with the titles going on sale initially in 100 stores later this month before being rolled out across the country over the next year.
