New developments for business advisers

New developments for business advisers
24 February 2006

An interesting and wide-ranging event has been organised by the Institute of Business Advisers Scotland which is intended not only to meet business advisers' CPD needs, but also to help them be up to date with some important developments which affect their work, and to allow them the opportunity to meet up and network with colleagues across the country.

  • The business advice scene is experiencing exciting times with a proposed merger between the IBA, the Chartered Institute of Management and the Institute of Management Consultants;
  • Financial regulations affecting the advice given in relation to external capital funding;
  • The professional indemnity insurance of private advisers dependent on up-to-date CPD;
  • The growth of the social enterprise economy and other issues.
