| 07 December 2005 University-level study in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland - a vision of the future university UHI Millennium Institute (UHI) is a partnership of fifteen colleges and research institutions, plus an associated network of outreach learning centres, located throughout the Highlands and Islands of Scotland (including Moray and Perthshire). UHI presently has more than 5,000 students studying university-level courses or undertaking postgraduate research. It is anticipated that in 2007, UHI Millennium Institute will become the University of the Highlands and Islands. It is therefore reviewing its vision and mission in anticipation of its forthcoming change in status. As part of this process, UHI is undertaking a survey so that everyone who is interested in the future of the region and its prospective university has the opportunity to express their views. You can access the questionnaire at UHI Millennium Institute survey or through a button on the UHI homepage until 21st December. It is an easy 'tick box' survey and will only take you 5-10 minutes to do. You will be asked, too, to provide some information about yourself and the capacity in which you are contributing to this survey. Questions in this survey cover the following areas:
