Woodfuel development in the Highlands

A talk by Rebecca Carr (Forestry Commission Scotland – Woodfuel Officer) on the potential role of woodfuel as a substitute for other heating systems in the Highlands, the benefits of using wood as a fuel source and recent advances in woodfuel technology. There will also be discussion on how to increase the use of woodfuel, and the ease of sourcing firewood, within the SOI area.
