| 24 June 2005 The latest ISP to offer broadband customers a free upgrade to 2Mbps is Demon. All existing Demon customers will be upgraded automatically to the new speed or to the highest sub-2Mbps speed the customer’s line can support. In addition to the free upgrades for existing users, Demon is trying to tempt new customers with two new 2Mbps service offerings, Home 2000 and HomeOffice 2000, priced at £19.99 and £24.99 per month respectively.
