How often have you been fretting on a business trip because you’re negotiating on foot the streets of an unfamiliar town or city?

Probably too often for comfort most of us would reply. Now, however, a solution may be at hand thanks to Navicore UK who are offering mobile phone users a GPS navigation system on their handset.

Navicore claim that rival solutions are typically cut down versions of PDA navigators. Theirs, on the other hand, say Navicore, is the most responsive product on the market, reacting instantly to users even on mobile phones with limited computing power. As well as for personal navigation while pounding the streets, Navicore Personal can be used in-car.

Included in the Navicore package (retailing for around £200 - £250 inc. VAT) is a memory card containing the application, all UK maps, a Bluetooth GPS receiver and charger. It is compatible with Symbian-based handsets including various Nokia handsets, Siemens SX-1, Sendo X and Panasonic X700
