As predicted here recently Yahoo!’s My Web is being adopted by web sites for search engine optimisation reasons.

My Web is a Yahoo! search tool that includes the ability to create public web folders that contain content you would like to share. Two weeks ago, we suggested the web folder could be used to boost search engine ratings as it was an alternative links page and means of site content generation.

Now it emerges that online news release site, PR Web have been thinking along similar lines and are sporting a My Yahoo! logo link straight to their web folder. No doubt, others are already following their lead.
