| Community groups flock for website guidance | |
| 30 May 2003 More than 35 representatives from community groups around Inverness and Nairn are gathering in the city's Netley Centre on Saturday (31 May) for a special seminar to enable them to develop or enhance websites. The event, organised by Inverness and Nairn Enterprise (INE), has been oversubscribed and organiser, INE's David Williams, said he was delighted with the response. "This is a pilot event, delivered by some of the leading authorities on website development, to give people a useful insight into the basics," said Mr Williams. "It is aimed specifically at those setting up or maintaining websites on behalf of their local community group and the large response shows there is a great appetite for such events. "It's clear that community groups are making more and more use of the internet to further their cause and we hope to hold a further workshop later in the year. Anyone interested in this should contact the Customer Services Team at INE." | |
