| New building at Dornoch business park aims to help local business growth | |
| 18 February 2003 Caithness and Sutherland Enterprise (CASE) is spending £200,000 constructing a light industrial building on the Dornoch Business Park. Senior business development manager at CASE's Golspie office, Susan Smith and Councillor Duncan Allan surveyed the site this week with O'Brien Construction Limited foreman, Cathal MacKay. Commenting on the project Susan Smith said: "We know there is demand for readily available infrastructure in Dornoch and the wider Sutherland area. As a result we need to support the construction of advance properties which help to attract inward investors to the area and allow indigenous businesses to grow and expand." The single storey building will cover a total area of 2,000 sq.ft. and can be let as three individual units. The development will help to meet the demand for light industrial property in the Dornoch area where there is currently no provision. | |
