| Enterprise Minister in Forres | |
| 23 August 2002 One the second day of his two-day visit to the Inverness area, Iain Gray, Minister for Transport, Enterprise and Lifelong Learning, visited Forres Enterprise Park yesterday (Thursday) to formally open the new offices of Moray Badenoch and Strathspey Enterprise (MBSE). MBSE is one of ten local enterprise companies contracted by Highlands and Islands Enterprise to promote social and economic development in Moray, Badenoch and Strathspey. The Minister also visited the Forres Office of Vertex, the UK's leading customer management company that employs around 1,000 people in four locations in the Highlands. At Vertex the Minister met staff who handle customer calls for TXU Staywarm - a fixed price energy product for the over 60s, as well as staff who have completed SVQ's in call centre handling in partnership with Inverness College and NORCOM. | |
