| WINE WORKING | |
| 15 March 2000
It was a case of 'bottoms up' for workers from the hospitality sector in the
Inverness and Nairn area, who recently attended a professional one-day wine
service course run by a local hotelier. Nicol Manson, owner of the Glen Mhor Hotel and fellow of the Academy of Food and Wine, explained techniques on wine storage and service, along with tastings of a selection of wines. The aim was to give participants the skills to confidently recommend wines to customers. The course was one of many presently being delivered by Inverness and Nairn Enterprise, to improve quality and customer care in the hospitality sector.
