| SURVEY OUTLINES VALUE OF PRAWN FISHERY TO HIGHLANDS AND ISLANDS A new survey has shown that the prawn fishery, in the Mallaig and Ullapool areas alone, generates some £10.4 million (pounds) a year for the economy of the Highlands and Islands and sustains more than 700 jobs.
