Highlands and Islands local food networkGrowing local food proves popular in Argyll, Bute and Lochaber

Three Grow Local training days set up for local food growers and producers in Argyll, Bute and Lochaber are proving popular. The Highlands and Islands Local Food Network (HILFN) has organised three Grow Local days - 7 March in Lochgilphead, 8 March in Oban and 9 March in Fort William.

Virtual work experienceYoungsters work experience expands into virtual world - Nicol Stephen

Youngsters across Scotland are to have access to state-of-the art virtual work experience at the touch of a button, thanks to a new internet-based 3D simulation unveiled today by Deputy First Minister, Nicol Stephen. A series of workplace simulations are being created to allow young people to carry out interactive tasks in business sectors which may not always be accessible to them.
