About 100k Welcomes – tourism leadership development course

This course is designed to help tourism and hospitality businesses achieve better results through focusing on:

• Developing and delivering customer service;
• Achieving excellent performance through great leadership;
• Continuous improvement based on customer feedback.

This course has been market-tested across Scotland through a series of some 40 pilot events and extensive enhancements made based on customer feedback. The operations course, too, has been thoroughly market-tested.

All of the courses are aimed primarily at businesses and other organisations engaged in delivering the Scottish tourism experience to customers. 100k Welcomes is not aimed at schools, for which both Springboard Scotland and Careers Scotland offer more appropriate provision. This approach is designed to support the delivery of experience-based training that generates tangible business results for participants.
